The image has been created by pulling back the the saturation and reducing the vibrancy. This creates some nice subtle tones.
I darkened out the other cars in the parking area with a gradient filter, I think this cleans up the image
This uses some fancy colourised gradient filters to light the road and sky. I have also used the clarity tool to selectively blur the headlights
Nine textured photos all in one. Good crazy you blogging bloggers. Lightroom does me proud once again.
I have added shape to this image with Lightrooms gradient filters.
These types of textures are great to add texture to an image in Photoshop. You can then bring the composite image back into Lightroom and finish the processing.CLICK HERE to learn more about Adobe Lightroom check out my LIGHTROOM TUTORIAL.

Lightroom popped the detail in this image. One technique that I have been experimenting with is reversing the clarity on a gradient filter. This is great for softening the focus on areas that you want to create a bit more depth of field. This in turn makes the detailed areas appear more clear.

This is what I'm all about, strong design, limited colour and an image that twinkles when you shake it on your iPhone.

It took a while before this image really came to life, in the first instance I never saw the cool pipe work and textures on the concrete areas - as it was black and under exposed. I fixed this by using a combination of gradient filters and fill lighting to bring out the detail. I love the final result.
In this image I have used a colored tint in the grass shadow areas to intensify the color. This function is found in Develop Mode, under the Tone Splitting = shadows - Hue. Check it out you'll love it.

With this image I have added a blue/green tint to a graduated filter coming down from the top. This effect gives a bit of colour to the white buildings and makes it feel more dramatic and colourful.
I love what Merit Attention has done with the colour treatment here. Once again Lightroom comes into it's own dealing with colour temperature and beautiful clarity. Nice one.
